Our history

In the summer, Colombo Ezio establishes a company in Abbadia Lariana, which takes its name from him, for the marketing and production of nuts and washers.

After almost 30 years, the company expands its operations and relocates to Mandello del Lario, investing in dedicated machinery for even more efficient service.

In April, the company returns to Abbadia Lariana, in the area of the former Tubettificio Ligure. Here, it introduces production automation with the use of robotic islands for the production of high-precision nuts and ring nuts.

Production efficiency and high quality led to positive results, allowing us to expand beyond national borders, specialising in the production of medium and large series of nuts and washers.

Colombo Ezio changed ownership, becoming Colombo Ezio & C, and continued its expansion and internationalisation, becoming one of the top players in the ring nut market.

Colombo Ezio embraced the ‘Industry 4.0’ philosophy, investing in interconnected and interfaced systems to further optimise production.

OSRA is acquired by the company for the production of special custom-designed parts for various sectors, from automotive to construction. This step further expands the company's product offering and strengthens its position in the international market.

Colombo Ezio & C. takes another important leap in the expansion of its operations by acquiring CMM Lab, a company specialising in the production of precision machinery. This move enriches its technological know-how, supporting the company's long-term goal of keeping pace with the rapid evolution of the industrial sector.
